Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Q: What are the activities planned for this upcoming school holiday? A: Reading Classes (BM & BI) - starting from 25th Nov (mon - fri) Smart Solat (every friday 9am - 12pm) starting from 3rd Dec Fees : Reading class (rm 5/session) Smart Solat (rm15/session) Q: When can i register my child for 2011 ATFAL intake? A: Registration for 2011 Intake will be open starting from 1st October 2010. Q: When is ATFAL Open Day? A: ATFAL does not conduct Open Day session, However, ATFAL do conduct the Induction Day for Parents who enrolled thier children here. The Induction day will provide parents with basic guideline and overview of ATFAL programs. Q: What are the hours of the school session? A: Kindergarten session start at 8:15am and ends at 12.15pm Q: Does ATFAL provide a light snack? A: Yes, light snack is provided, However we recommended parents to provide the morning snack for their child. Q: Does ATFAL provide transportation service? A: We can arrange transportation for your child, Pls consult ATFAL management for more details. Q: How many students per classroom? A: There is a limit of 12 - 16 students per class depending to the class size, the students limit per class has been determine by the ministry of education. Q: Are all of the classrooms the same academically? A: Although the curriculum and goals are the same for each class, they are paced differently. Q: Are kindergartners assigned homework? A: Yes, homework is assigned on weekly basis, homework must be returned on the following schooling day. Q: Whom is ATFAL Teachers? A: Quality is ATFAL priority, We provide training and guidance to ensure Teachers are qualified to handle classes. At same time we ensure Teachers are adhere to the ATFAL's regulations and systematic education program. Q: Do kindergartners receive an academic report card? A: Yes, report card is issued twice a year (during parent's day). Q: Whom should i discuss about my children progress? A: Class Teacher is the best person to discuss with, however parents can always discuss with any teachers or principal. Q: How do i enroll my child in ATFAL? A: Parents are welcome for walk in registration, Pls bring along a copy of Child Birth certificate, 2 passport size child photo and parents IC. Q: How much is booking fee? A: Minimum of RM100 (Refundable - after February only). |
